Honda VT750 Shadow Sabre

Stretched out and laid back is the theme for this year’s Honda Shadow 750 it’s longer and lower than previous models and even claims to have a lower seat than any other big bore factory custom. At 676 mm the seat will be low enough for even the shortest riders, the front portion giving the rider that ‘sitting in the bike’ feel while the pillion sits a good bit higher on the pad.

A 19-inch spoked front wheel and 15 inches at the rear makes the Shadow a lazy handling but enjoyable cruiser to ride.

The engine is 745cc, liquid cooled V-twin with 3 valves per cylinder has adequate power and sounds good through the twin megaphone exhaust pipes.

Single twin-pot disc on the front and drum on the rear are never going to throw you over the handlebars, but do the job.

This bike is not about performance; it’s about looking good, looking like an American cruiser, looking shiny, and above all, looking distinctive. All of the above it does without hesitation and even has Honda’s renowned reliability and quality of finish to boot. Honda VT750 Shadow Sabre
