Honda NSR125 Black

Mini Super Sports bike from Honda with two new colours for 2001, Red/White/Blue and Black joining the already impressive line up of paintwork of previous years.

It sounds just like the real thing to, its 2-stroke engine sounding just like the GP bikes on the track.

The engine is a liquid cooled 2-stoke single cylinder, with six-speed transmission and CDI electronic ignition. Power output in un-restricted format is 28bhp with a mere 12bhp if restricted. The unrestricted version will top 110 mph.

Front suspension is 35mm telescopic forks, while the rear has a pro-link swingarm set-up. Single 318mm disc with twin piston caliper on the front and 220mm disc and single caliper on the rear take care of the stoppies. A fuel capacity of 13 litres should see a respectable range on the road.

Wheels are 6-spoke alloy and 17 inch at either end, the rear has a fat 130-section tyre.

With sharp performance and fully faired bodywork around the high tech aluminium chassis and competent suspension this bike has a following of supporters who would ride nothing else.

The quality of finish is up to Honda’s usual very high standard.

With a dry weight of 132kgs this is one easy motorcycle to throw around.
