Buying a used -	Honda VFR800
Introduction	Few bikes are as reliable as a VFR and there is not much to worry about with a second-hand purchase.
Engine	No known problems. Check service history for regular oil changes. High mileage not a problem. Camshafts are gear-driven so no chains to think about.
Chassis	No known problems.
Brakes	Brakes are of the linked variety and some people like them others don’t. Most get used to them after a while, then are happy with them. Some reported sticking calipers, but it’s not a huge problem.
Suspension	n/a
Finish	Well finished and should be no problems, abuse and lack of care will be obvious. Check for salt damage.
Recalls	None
Other	Check for cheap aftermarket exhausts. Ask for the originals.
